Re:          Canada Day in Sechelt 2015

The Sechelt Downtown Business Association has been coordinating Canada Day in Sechelt for many years, and is already beginning to plan for Canada Day 2015.  In order to build on the already well-established program of events and activities, we are needing to increase our planning committee membership.  This will benefit the community through the presentation of a top-notch event.  We wish Canada Day to encompass the ideals and expectations of the whole community, and in order to accomplish this we need the cooperation and support from the wider community.  We need as many ideas as possible and bodies to help!

We have many ideas and comments from last year’s evaluations upon which to build this year’s plan.

We are inviting your organization to send one or two representatives to sit on the Canada Day 2015 Committee to help organize and implement the events.  We normally have between six and eight 1-2 hour evening meetings in the six months prior to Canada Day.  Days and times are determined by the committee.  Our first meeting will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at the SDBA office, 203-5760 Teredo Street, Sechelt (entrance adjacent to Subway).  A printable PDF of the agenda is available for download.

Please advise us if you will be sending a representative.

We look forward to your participation and involvement in this great community event.
