Memo to our partners in the community:
We are now beginning to plan for Canada Day 2014 and are needing to increase our planning committee membership. In order to benefit the community, we need as many ideas as possible and bodies to help implement a top notch event. We wish Canada Day to encompass the ideals and expectations of the whole community, and in order to accomplish this we need cooperation and support from the wider community.
We have many ideas and comments from last year’s evaluations upon which to build this year’s plan.
We are inviting your organization to send one or two representatives to sit on the Canada Day 2014 Committee to help organize and implement the events. We normally have between six and eight 1-2 hour evening meetings in the six months prior to Canada Day. Days and times are determined by the committee. Our first meeting has already been held. Please advise us if you wish to send a representative to future meetings.
We look forward to your participation and involvement in this great community event.
