If you enjoy cutting and/or sewing we need you! The Sechelt Downtown Business Association has partnered with Boomerang Bags, a global, grassroots movement connecting and empowering local communities to tackle plastic pollution, to create re-usable bags from donated fabric to give to our downtown shops to help reduce the use of single use plastic bags.
We will be hosting a drop in volunteer day to cut fabric and create take-away kits for volunteers to take home and make bags.
TENTATIVE DATE OCT 1st
Please bring sharp scissors or rotary cutters and cutting mats if you have them.
