The parade will begin at 10:30 at the corner of Cowrie and Ocean. From there it will travel down Cowrie St to Inlet Ave. It turns left on Inlet, and then turns left and travels up Dolphin St to finish at Dolphin and Trail (the corner of Hackett Park).
Join the Sunshine Coast Lions Club for a Pancake Breakfast beginning at 8am. It will take place at the corner of Inlet and Cowrie St.
Right after the parade we kick off Canada Day festivities with the opening ceremonies and cake at our Performance Stage on Cowrie in front of Sunstone Beads and Cowrie Pharmacy. There will be a classic car display and two music stages.
The rest of the day until 4 pm will feature live music, break-dancing, food, beer, cider and spirits. We have Brickers, Gibsons Tapworks, 101 Brewhouse, Bruinwood Distillery and Persephone serving up drinks and various food vendors with local eats for you to savour.
Hackett Park free family fun starts after the parade. There will be community booths, fun kids activities like bouncy castles, pony rides, face painting and dozens of craft vendors and food stations. Come on down for a full day of fun with the kids.
